Richard Edward Hackett-Reich left his earthly life to take his place with his beloved Saviour, Yahshua, the son of Yahweh/God. He left this world peacefully in the arms of those that loved him very much.
Reich spent his entire life bringing others to know God through his never wavering example, his spiritual artwork and his incredible zest for a spiritual existence. He enjoyed every second of every day, finding pleasure in the beauty of simple things that were around him.
He was born Feb. 23, 1938. When he was 12-years-old, he was found sleeping in the back of a fruit truck and later adopted by the owners of that truck, Zoom and Florence Hackett. He later changed his name back to his birth name to honor his mother, Mary Lou, and father, Cameron and his siblings. His siblings names are Robert, Bud, Steve, Susie and Sandy Reich. His other siblings through adoption are Berkley, John and Elaine Hackett. His three sons are Cameron Hackett, Shawn Hackett and Tait Hackett. His grandchildren are Brian Toncray, Alyssa Hackett, Laekyn McLaughlin, Whitney Hackett, Nicole Hackett and Abby Hackett. He was very proud of his work, but he was most proud of his sons and grandchildren.
Richard had a master’s of fine arts degree and created and published over 70 art designs which many hundreds of thousands have been distributed throughout the world. Over 7,000 artists have been instructed by him in art seminars throughout the United States and Canada. He also had degrees from two biblical universities and had been a minister to congregations in Michigan, Tennessee and Arkansas. Most recently, he wrote and illustrated the book “Yahshua Called Your Name A Green Olive Tree.” He is the first person to ever have imported trees from the roots of the trees from the Mount of Olives. His work will continue by a team of those that want to see it thrive and grow into the full vision of its creator.
